About Me & My Family

I am a Stay at home mom to my boys, ages 5, 3 and 1. My husband and I have been married almost 8 years and love vacations that we can enjoy as a whole family. For now we are the type who like take weekend trips at the spur of the moment. Maybe when our children are older we can plan longer trips, but I just haven't had the courage yet. I love that we live in the city of Las Vegas were it seems there is always a fun day trip awaiting.

Favorite Vacation Memory
My favorite vacation memory so far was from our recent trip to Anaheim. We went to see the Playhouse Disney Live show at California Adventure and I got to witness the most surprised look on my two year olds face, priceless! It was his first time seeing Mickey and it was just the puppet but yet he stood in shock for about five minutes with his hands over his mouth. It was even harder later to pull him away from the life sized characters.
Worst Travel Moment With My Kids:
The worse travel moment would have to be a road trip I took alone with my kids to Texas and realized I left half the clothes on the bed back home unpacked. I forgot socks for everyone, one child had shirts but no pants and my other child I only packed PJ's. I was a little embarrassed the next day taking my kids shopping in their pajama's.

"Great Service"
As soon as we arrived the valets got our names once and we were greeted by name our whole stay. The hotel is very clean and elegant. The hotel only option for parking is valet $25 a day or $10 a day to park over about 200 yards away from the hotel and walk. The hotel has a very nice salt water treated pool with towel service. They also provided me with a crib and the bedding was very clean. Would stay again, across the street from the mall too.

"Great Zoo"
The zoo had a lot to offer. I enjoyed that they had exhibits and shows around the clock. Unfortunately we went in July and it was extremely hot and it was hard to enjoy ourselves. The exhibits are pretty for apart so prepare for tons of walking. My son loved the camel rides, the cost was about $20 which included a photo. They also allow you to rent little floats for the "lake".

"Great Rooms"
I have stayed here three times and loved it every time. The rooms are very clean and modern. They offer both a shower and separate tub. The tub is so deep that the water goes up to your shoulders very relaxing. There is also a flat screen tv right above the tub with a telescopic bracket so you can watch it from any spot. Just watch out for the goodies on the dresser and drinks in the frig, even if you don't eat them they are on a sensor so if you lift it up for long enough you will be charged. As far as the casino it offers plenty of eating options, gaming, and entertainment.

"Great Rates"
The hotel is one of my favorites for gambling. The staff at the kids quest is very friendly. The hotel is off the strip but offers great rates. The buffet is pretty good. This hotel houses some of my favorite places to eat Cabo and Charcoal Room. The rooms don't have the Wow factor but its great for the price. The hotel also offers bowling, arcade and movie theater for the kids.

"Good Rates"
I thought the hotel has a lot to offer as far as entertainment. There was nothing great about the rooms but they are very clean. They have a movie theater and Arcade for the kids. The buffet is just ok, but the Italian restaurant is very good. There is also a food court that has a lot to choose from.
