"Your place for Princesses"
If your little girl(s) adore the Disney princesses, then this is the place for you. As you walk around to the different pavillions (countries) you will find a Disney princess or two waiting for you. You might even be lucky to see the Beast or Dopey. Your little boy(s) will also enjoy the ride with Finding Nemo and Friends. Kids and adults will enjoy riding Soarin. Very cool ride!!

"Definitely for 5 and up"
Our triplets were 4 yrs. old when we visited Animal Kingdom. They were too little to ride most of the rides and they freaked out when we tried to watch Bug's Life in 3D!! They lasted less than 2 minutes. It blows air and water on you and vibrates the seats. They enjoyed the Africian Safari. It was a nice slow ride and they got to see TONS of animals. They also enjoyed Kali River Rapids but don't forget to take an extra change of clothes or take your shoes off and put them in a water proof bag during the ride.

The Magic Kingdom - Disney
Magic Kingdom Drive,
Lake Buena Vista,
Florida 32830
We LOVED the Magic Kingdom. Our triplets were 4 yrs. old when we went and we spent 2 days in the Magic Kingdom and still didn't do everything. They have rides for the adults, rides for the kids, and rides for both. We took our own strollers b/c we knew they would be wiped out. We were so thankful we did. A tip about taking your own stroller, tie a bright colored bandana on the handle so when you get off a ride, you will be able to spot your stroller right away. Don't forget to pack disposable ponchos too! You never know when a little rain storm will pop up!

Sliding Rock
Highway 276,
Pisgah Forest,
North Carolina
This is not a place for young children who are not good swimmers or steady on their feet. I recommend it for kids 9 and older. You have to walk through water to get to the top of the "Sliding rock" and then you wait for the lifeguard to signal you to go......off you go, sliding down the rock and you land in a freezing cold swimming hole. You swim to the side, climb up the rocks and then climb back up the slippery rock to the top to do it all over again. If you have a "thrill Junkie" child, they will LOVE it!!!

LuLu's at Homeport Marina
200 East 25th Avenue,
Gulf Shores,
Alabama 36542
Everyone had told us how wonderful and kid-friendly LuLu's was so we decide dto give it a try. There was an hour and a half wait. They have a large sand are with volleyball nets and buckets and shovels. Older kids were playing volleyball and wouldn't let our kids play so they decided to dig in the sand. Needless to say, they were COVERED in sand by the time we finally got a table. Most of the sand came from other kids throwing it over their shoulders without looking. Once seated, it took another 20 minutes b/4 a waitress came over. B/4 we received our meal, another waitress dropped her tray which had about 15 drinks on it. Liquid and glass went all over those of us on that side of the table. The food was okay. Nothing special. We decided to order dessert, which was not right! Needless to say, we did not have a good experience.
