White Pass Railway
231 Second Avenue ,
Skagway,
Alaska
"Historical Fun if the kids can take 2hrs"
I took this tour with a group of adults, but there were plenty of children with families along for the ride. I hesitate to suggest this for kids with short attention spans. There is not alot going on during this tour except for the beautiful scenic and historical views of Alaskas White Pass. Although most of Alaska is historical in some way and not much of a kids playground. I enjoyed the views and got alot of great pictures. If your child loves trains I bet they would enjoy this ride and just have fun being on a train. There is just one small bathroom stall in these old cars so don't expect an easy diaper change, it'd have to be on the seats, which can be cold in the later season. Dress the kids WARM and in layers. Heating is limited. If your child likes history or trains, bridges, tunnels or all, they may be able to enjoy this tour for what it is.

Outrigger Aina Nalu
660 Wainee Street,
Lahaina, Hawaii
"Spacious needing cleanliness"
I booked this hotel on the good deal I got online and because it was in Lahaina, one of my favorite Maui cities. Location was GREAT and the walk to the main street was less than 5min. Our room was a good size 2bdrm unit, but not as large as the pictures made it seem. Floors were very dirty, my sons feet black just after a few minutes barefoot. Kitchen lacking supplies but the beds were very comfortable and private. The pools were nice and private too. Maids were nice and did our dishes, which was great. Overall I'd recommend for a large family if you can get a good deal. Next time I'd ask and make sure I had sufficient kitchen supplies because it doesn't matter to have a full kitchen if you can't cook properly. We spent alot of extra $$$ on dining out than planned.

Anaheim Fairfield Inn by Marriott
1460 S Harbor Blvd,
Anaheim, California
This hotel is a quick walk to the Disney and California Adventures park! It's your typical family hotel with nothing extra special. A nice little pool out front and a snack bar inside for those hungry kids at night. Plenty of restaurants with easy walking and if your trip is just for disneyland, save the car rental and take a shuttle to the hotel, you won't need a car unless you plan to go elsewhere. Rooms were clean and comfortable and a View of the night time Disney fireworks was nice.

Residence Inn by Marriott Flagstaff
3440 N Country Club Dr,
Flagstaff, Arizona
"Family Friendly and HOT breakfast too!"
I stayed solo at this hotel in Flagstaff, but my room was plenty big for a family of 4 with a large L shaped couch, fireplace, TV and nice sized kitchen for lunch and dinner. Don't worry about breakfast because it's hot and ready in the lobby! I was very pleased with the breakfast layout and service. Looking for Grand Canyon? It's not too awful far from this hotel and I could see staying there and taking the day drive to go. February was FREEZING in Flagstaff, so dress warm! My room was clean, spacious and I would recommend this hotel.

The Magic Kingdom - Disney
Magic Kingdom Drive,
Lake Buena Vista,
Florida 32830
My trip to Disneyworld was several years back before my children, but this is a childs Delight! As I teenager I was able to roam around Disney with a friend and feel safe and safe enough for my parents to let us go by ourselves (which was rare). I went once again when I was a little older and the entire Disneyworld park is just a DREAM to me and everything about it is truly magical! If your saving up for the best family vacation, make sure Disneyworld/Magic Kingdom are on your list! I myself am waiting for my kids to be old enough to take this journey across the country to spend the week at Disneyworld! AMAZING!
