We have four children that are homeschooled. When we travel we love to see historic sites, beautiful scenery, old familiar places and new-to-us places, living family and family history sites, orienteering, and counting counties.

Nebraska & Minnesota

Before children, my wife and I drove US-2 from Bemidji MN to Glacier National Park stopping at all the roadside history signs along the way. We also read the book Roadside History of Montana as we traveled US-2, which led us to more history. This book series gives the history of a state as you travel the major roads of that state.

My worst moment was discovering I was on the other side of airport security with a 4 and 2 year old without our tickets. My wife's worst moment was losing a 5 year old at a very crowded National Zoo.
