"Water Country is a hit!"
My husband and I visited Water Country the past two years in August as my birthday treat! It is spectacular and I will continue to spend my birthdays there! This past year, I intended to gauge each pool and slide to see how appropriate it would be to bring my two year old. Surprisingly, there are many suitable options for her, including a large play zone designated just for toddlers! How exciting it was to see this! The lines are never tremendously long, and the rides are phenomenal! Great family fun!

Wet N’ Wild Emerald Pointe Water Park | kids travel, kids activities

"Fun but pricey."
I guess for the area, and for North Carolina, this would be the water park to attend! Many different levels of fun for yourself and your children. The admission is rather high, something you'd expect from a chain Water Park, but it's a fun outing for the whole family. Activities include a wave pool, zipline, slides and a sunken ship smack in the middle of a pool!

"America, this is Your Museum!"
Absolutely breathtaking! You will undoubtedly be in awe of everything you find here. It may be crowded, but it is a must-see at least once in every American citizen's life. Historians can't do justice to things you must witness first hand--speaking of hand, want to know how large Lincoln's hand was? Find out here! Such an amazing place to visit; I will be bringing my family here again soon!

"Museum of Large Magnitude!"
This experience is one I won't soon forget! Walking into the museum, you are blown away by where your eye wants to take you! Look up! You shouldn't miss anything! Kids will absolutely adore this facility! Even with the massive amounts of visitors, I was still able to push a stroller around with ease, the stairs out front are the only difficulty!

"Wilmington's Battleship"
I've been to the USS North Carolina site twice now, once as a kid and once as an adult. I enjoy traveling and learning about little pieces of history, and as a child visiting something of this size was fascinating. Coming back as an adult, it didn't seem as spectacular. Still neat to visit, but not what I remembered as a child.
