Moody Gardens

We really enjoyed the beautiful grounds after spending the day at the beach. It was very green and lush. Wish we would have gotten there a little earlier as we missed out on some of the rides that closed for the day. The 3D movie was a lot of fun as well as watching the sail boats nearby.

Had a 8 y.o. and 14 y.o. neices with us as well as a 25 y.o. and 40+ y.o. We all had a fun time and there were a lot of different rides to go on. Could let the kids go off on there own and check in without worrying. Nice places to lay out, relax and get a little sun.

Not many things are easy to find in Houston but this was. Directions were easy to follow and street signs were good. What a great place. We loved walking through the tunnel with sharks swimming above us. Looking forward to going again. Didn't try the diner there but it smelled amazing.

Wish we would have had more time to look around there. It was cool to see the rockets and space stuff. Didn't have little kids with us but think that they would have liked it. Took a long time to get there and we got lost a few times as the road signage wasn't great.

My little boys would not enjoy this but w did. Nice boat ride over, was a little on the cold side (February). The prison was cool to wander through. Liked that it was a self guided tour and could take our time. Give yourself plenty of time and get there early for tickets as the boat ride often sells out.
