Portland has a large number of cart vendors, and many of them have the most delicious fare in the city! The Brunch Box has a menu priced between $1.50 and $9, although most items are around $5. The kids can get a Cheezasaurus Rex (grilled cheese shaped like a dinosaur), or PB&J for $1.50 or a meal for $3! And they're sure to think buying food from a cart vendor is fun. For the adults, the Brunch Box features a variety of burgers, and of course breakfast sandwiches. Do you dare try the Redonkadonk burger? It's a OMG! Burger (egg, ham, spam, bacon, and american cheese), between 2 Texas Toast grilled cheese sandwich "buns". I think the whole family may be able to eat off of it! There are several other cart vendors in the same area so if the family can't decide on what kind of cuisine they would like, they will have a wide variety!

The Montage has a range of prices from $4 to around $20. For breakfast you can get French Toast for $5 or a 6 oz steak for $10. Enjoy a Po' Boy or Cajun BLT. They even serve Gator! Montage is probably most known for it's variety of Mac and Cheese. They have several to choose from, and you can add chicken if you would like. And be sure to save some to go, they wrap your leftovers in Aluminum Foil, and each will be it's own origami style animal or object! It can be a bit loud at times, but it's a fun atmosphere and the family can try some different dishes.

This is no hoity toity crepe shop! The owners of Mojo Crepes have taken the French classic and made it family and "to go" friendly. They take the crepe and make it into a cone (inside of a cup to catch the mess!) and fill it with anything from fruit, ice cream, flavored syrups, and of course, Nutella. A wide assortment of Japanese drinks and snacks are also available. Enjoy some family time and play a board game while your there! The most expensive menu item there is $5.25!

Voodoo Doughnuts is a favorite of Portlanders. Who wants a boring old donut? At Voodoo your kids can choose from a wide variety of doughnuts with names like Dirt (raised donut covered with vanilla glaze and Oreo cookies), Grape Ape (raised donut covered with vanilla frosting and grape powder), a Maple Bacon Bar (yep, a maple bar with strips of bacon), and the original Voodoo Donut (shaped like a voodoo doll with frosting and a pretzel stick "pin"). The menu is always changing as they come up with fun and new ideas. And while you're there, you might even see a wedding! Both Voodoo locations offer full wedding services. Bet you can't find that in Vegas.

Flying Pie uses fresh ingredients, and makes their crust fresh everyday. They also offer a whole wheat crust for those wanting a healthier crust! Offering several gourmet ingredients in their pizzas such as linguica, italian salami, spinach, smoked oysters, and soy-sation cheese (for those non-dairy lovers), they have a diverse menu, as well as make your own. Not to fear, you can always get a pepperoni or hawaiian if your kids are afraid of the stranger sounding options!
