"Comic Heroes!"
I'm sort of a comic book geek so this park was my personal favorite on our trip to Universal Studios. They have a whole section of the park devoted to Marvel Comic characters. There aren't many rides for the kids in this specific section but when you get to the Dr. Seuss area and the cartoon areas in the park there are more kid friendly rides. In the Marvel area they had the Hulk rollercoaster which is crazy and everyone should ride. The best ride hands down though was the Spiderman ride because it was 3D and was so realistic.

The kids loved the Dudley Do-Right log ride and this whole area was pretty kid friendly. I suggest bringing the older kids to this park because it's geared more towards them and adults. Younger kids can still have fun but they just won't have as many rides.

My tips: 1) Get to the park somewhat early so you can ride the rides your family wants to ride.
2) Research the park map online before your trip so you won't have to fight too many crowds as you know where you're going.

"The Disney you expect but crowded"
This park is easily the most crowded and popular park in Disney World. Personally I wouldn't have enjoyed this park as much if it hadn't been for my youngest and the smile on her face the entire time. This park has some decent rides for the adults/older kids but it's so crowded during peak season that you have to wait in line for a long time. It was a fun experience and the kids loved it but it wasn't our favorite part of the trip. The castle is amazing to see up close and next time we go I'll be sure to reserve a spot for my girl to be able to have a tea party with the princesses.

My tips: 1) Use the Disney Fastpass on the rides you want to ride most when there is a big line. That way you can ride some of the less popular rides while you're waiting for your fastpass time to come.
2) Do some research before the trip and you may be able to find the most common times that characters are out at the park doing their signing/meetings. A lot of the time you'll be able to also find out a general location of where the character's like to hangout. For example, Buzz Lightyear was found twice when we went near the "space" themed rides.
3) If you want a fun activity, buy a few Disney pins and start collecting and trading them with characters/workers when you meet them. It's a fun way to spend some time.

When you think of Disney World this is what you think of, for better or worse.

"Best part of Disney parks."
On a recent trip to Disney World the family decided hands down that this was our favorite park out of all the Disney parks. The park is very unique and offers many things for everyone. We went on the safari ride and the kids loved being able to see animals in the "wild." We also went on the dinosaur ride with the oldest and the nephews and they loved it so much that we went twice. The food in this park is pretty much the same price as in the other parks so no difference there.

The best and biggest difference was the amount of characters we got to interact with. Since the park is a bit smaller it's easier to see more characters at this location. The kids got Goofy's autograph, Flick's from Bug's Life and two others I can't remember.

Since this crowd doesn't get as big as the Magic Kingdom we didn't use the Fastpass in this park at all. We got onto most rides/attractions fairly quickly.
The family really loved this park and I highly suggest it. The animal's are most active towards the evening or a little earlier during the day according to the tour guide we had on our safari.

GameWorks

"One of the few places for kids here."
When we went to Vegas my sister brought her nephews along and one night I was in charge of entertaining them. Since most places in Vegas only allow adults I was pretty lost as to where I could take the kids other than the arcades in the hotels. Luckily I saw an ad for Gameworks so we headed there and we had a pretty good time. The games aren't super expensive but they aren't cheap and it's your traditional arcade style games just in a bigger scale. We ate there at the little cafe and it wasn't bad food but the prices were kind of high for what you got.

I guess this place knows it's one of the only spots for kids so it makes a killing off it. I'd suggest this place if you need to kill time with some kids but if you don't bring the kids then you can skip it.

Circus Circus Hotel & Casino | kids travel, kids activities
Circus Circus Hotel & Casino

"It's alright if you're in the area."
Obviously the casino is no place for kids but Circus Circus does have a section of the hotel casino specifically for children. I believe it's called the midway and it's a place that has games for the kids to play and also has a live circus act every 15 minutes or so. The circus act when we went (without kids) wasn't very great, not to say it was bad but just not great. The games seemed alright and would probably entertain the kids while parents were busy gambling.

We didn't make a trip to the Adventuredome where the rides are but I hear mixed reviews about it. Overall I'd skip the midway and stuff unless you're in the area and want a way to entertain the kids.
