Toledo Square Park
Gonzalez & 17th Ave,
Pensacola,
Florida 32502
Went here for the first time last Thursday for a picnic lunch. First, there was only one picnic table there, so thankfully it was a weekday and we could use it Second, there was one tree and that was it, which did nothing to proide any shade to the playground. Third, there were no bathrooms!!!!!!!!!!!

My 6-month-old daughter loved it here! We went b/c my husband is a pilot, so initially it was more for him than us. They have a very nice children's play area there where my DD and I hung out at while husband walked around. It was neat and couldn't beat the price......FREE! We'd go back if we lived near there :)

"a nice outing on a rainy day"
My one-year-old daughter and three college friends went here one rainy afternoon. It was nice. We were there for two hours and especially enjoyed seeing the starfish. My daughter seemed to enjoy the first hour, but fell asleep towards the end (her usual naptime). We would go back on another rainy afternoon for something to do! :)

Whidbey Island
Whidbey Island,
Oak Harbor,
Washington
We just recently moved from Whidbey Island back to Pensacola, FL. I absolutely LOVED it here! I would hike the Seaview Trail on base all the time (3.2 miles RT) as well as the waterfront trail that starts/ends @ Windjammer Park. Yes, the temps are much cooler in the summertime than most areas, but you can't beat the little to no humidity!!! I'm missing it a lot right now :(

Sanders Beach-Corinne Jones Community Center and Park
913 South I Street ,
Pensacola,
Florida
This park, by far, is the absolute BEST park in Pensacola!!!!!!!! Why? Because it's covered, so you can actually go and play during the blazing heat waves we have so frequently. There's a nice hill for older kids to roll down for even more fun and it's right next to the water too.....can't beat that! :)
