"All Aboard!"
Tweetsie is a great place to go for a train enthusiast. If you time it when Thomas the Train is there your child will enjoy it even more. In addition to the ride, which is ambushed by bandits (but saved by cowboys), there is also the petting zoo. It's not a great deal for the price but the kids do like it there.

"AWESOME"
It didn't take as long to walk through as I thought but there was so much to see! The moving walkway that takes you underneath the aquarium with sharks and other fish swimming above and beside you-breathtaking! The themed exhibits are educational and fun to boot. This is a great place to visit while at the beach.

Colonial Williamsburg

"History"
History is what you can take away from this experience. I like that the townspeople are dressed and speak in character with the times that they represent. There are even restaurants with authentic "old timey" cooking. It is a learning experience for young and old.

"Love the Rides"
The only thing there that concerned me was the mixture of alcohol and roller coaster riding! Since kids don't drink, I think it's safe for them. I loved the world themes in the different sections and the shopping that went with each culture. The rides are wonderful and I look forward to when my younger ones can participate.

DUNES VILLAGE RESORT | kids travel, kids activities
DUNES VILLAGE RESORT

"The Best!"
We love this place! The indoor pools have a waterslide and seperate children's water play area with many fun characters. There are pool tables and indoor games for days when it's rainy or you just don't want to be outside. The beach is clean and the staff is friendly. The rates a re reasonable for what you get and we plan on staying there for more of our trips to the coast.
