"Pig races!"
Who doesn't enjoy a good pig race. Your pigs can pick their entrant and interact with the staff for a grand day at the farm. There are several petting exhibits, some of which are quite exotic. Take hand sanitizer if you are squeamish. Don't miss the pony rides and the climbing goats. Your kids will love it!

"Don't be squeamish"
This place is more than just snakes in an aquarium. There are a variety of shows and walk-through exhibits. One hundred year old turtles and giant pythons make for an interesting day. Try to go at the beginning of the tourist season, or it is quite busy. Easy location makes a variety of other attractions convenient.

"Prepare to be amazed"
Take your camera and video recorder to capture your kids amazement. This place is loaded with bear and other impressive animals. You get to see predators and prey close-up. Take your time on the drive and don't let others rush you. Most of this park is seen from your car.

"Fun fun fun"
I've been going here since I was a kid and now my kids love it too. The steep slides are still king, but there is a kiddyland as well. Have fun in the tube rides and the pirate ship with your kids. When the day is done, the public beach is just around the corner.

"take a picnic lunch"
This place is special not so much for its museum, but for its grounds. I have been going here since I was a child and I still love it. There is almost a mile long stretch of ground the kids can run and play on uninterrupted. Take a picnic, take your time, and take a camera. A public beach is located just across the street as well.
