"Best Shopping Mall in Houston!"
This shopping mall has every shop and more then you are looking for. Shops range from Aeropostale, Urban Outfitteres to Louis Vuitton and Chanel. The kids enjoy this mall because they can ran around, eat good food (cheesecake factory, sonic, rainforest cafe, etc) at the food court and then go ice skate on the first floor! The mall is 3 stories tall. Parking can be a hassle, but is not impossible. There are numerous places to park.

Zuma Fun Center
180 West Rankin Road or 6767 Southwest Freeway,
Houston,
Texas
My kids and I really enjoy this place! Yes even me. This is the one place where you can feel like a kid again. There are numerous games inside the facility and you win tickets which you can use to buy toys, pencils, stuffed animals, etc. There is a golf course and race track outside. The golf course is very nice. While standing outside you can see the freeway (59 N and 59 S) and surrounding stores. The race track is huge and a lot of fun!

Houston Comets Basketball- NOW CLOSED
1510 Polk Street,
Houston,
Texas
I love to teach my kids that one job or sport is not restricted to one gender. We can be whatever we want. That is why I liked to take my kids to Houston Comets games as well! And let's face it they were pretty good :). The kids enjoyed the fun atmosphere, great food, and fun activities that took place throughout the season. If your wondering why I'm speaking in past terms, its because the Houston Comets team was suspended for the 2009 season.

Houston Astros Baseball

This activity has been a family favorite for years. It's our little tradition so to speak. The kids love the games and the many activites that take place within the facility such as autograph signing, meet and greet with players, etc. The food is aslo fantastic and kid friendly (peanuts, nachos, etc). The Houston Astros also has a kid's club (Astros Kids).

Houston Museum of Natural Science
One Hermann Circle Drive,
Houston,
Texas 77030
This museum is fantastic! Everytime the kids visit the museum theirs jaws are literally on the ground and they do not want to leave. There is a lot to see and do. The Dinoasaurs is a favorite of my kids and also the gift shop. The kids also love looking at the different colored/shaped diamonds. It's a great place to go to take your kids to have fun and learn at the same time!
