Dorney Park and Wildwater Kingdom

Allentown,

For a large amusement park, they are not to over priced. There is something for everyone to do, whether you like rides or the water. They even have "Camp Snoopy" for the little ones. It can be very crowded, so it is best to go during the week, but don't be surprised by the number of people, even then.

Claws ’N’ Paws Wild Animal Park
1475 Ledgedale Rd.,
Lake Ariel,
Pennsylvania 18436
This is a nice afternoon trip. It isn't too big, so the little ones seem to enjoy it and not get overwhelmed. For the area, they have alot to offer, with more animals than I would have expected. I would definetly go again, but the older ones may be looking for more.

Jenkinson's Aquarium
Point pleasant boardwalk,
Point Pleasant Beach,
New Jersey
With so much to do on the boardwalk, this is a nice way to relax, instead of going from game to shop. They have a decent collection of fish in a well laid out aquarium. The little ones really think it is a treat to be able to actually see the fish while they are at the shore.

There is alot to see here. From toddlers to adults, there is something for everyone. Whether you are into the penquins and sea lions, or just the fish. The kids love looking at how different kinds of fish look. There are sharks & the chance to pet rays, like I said something for everyone.

If you are interested in the Civil War, this is a great place to go when the do re-enactments. You can see battles, as well as living history and talk to the re-enactors. There is alot that you can learn about the Civil War, as well as the way people lived.
