Hogle Zoo
2600 East Sunnyside Ave,
Salt Lake City,
Utah 84108
My kids always enjoy a visit to the Hogle Zoo. They have re-doing exhibits and making many improvements over the last few years to make it seem like a more natural environment for the animals. I think they have done a fantastic job so far. Be sure to bring a wagon or stroller for little ones so they don't get tired of walking around. There is a playground near the entrance of the zoo that my kids love to play on. It is a good way to use up any energy they may have left after walking through the zoo.

Seven Peaks Water Park

Provo,
Utah 84601
Seven Peaks Water Park is a blast for kids of all ages! If you plan on visiting the water park, be sure to keep your eyes peeled for discounts/coupons to help with the costs. I have seen numerous promotions and coupons floating around. Seven Peaks offers a wave pool, lazy river and numerous waterslides.

Timpanogos Cave National Monument
Timpanogos Cave National Monument,
American Fork,
Utah 84003
The inside of Timpanogos Cave is amazing with all of the different rock formations coming out of the ceilings and floors. My 7 year old son is very much into caves so he really enjoys things like this. The hike up the mountain to get to the cave is a little strenuous, but worth it! Just be careful with little kids because there is not any railing and the edges are steep!

Bridal Veil Falls
Provo Canyon,
Hwy 189,
Provo,
Utah
"Bridal Veil Falls- beautiful!"
Bridal Veil Falls are located up Provo Canyon. These waterfalls are absolutely breathtaking. There are hiking trails to get a closer view of the falls. However, you will want to be careful with little children as there are no rails and it can be slippery. If you have kids, I would recommended taking a walk on the walking trail instead. There are also many places to have a picnic in the shade.

Liberty Park
700 East 1300 South,
Salt Lake City,
Utah
This is a fun park to visit with children. There is a playground with many toys. It is fun to take a picnic to eat at one of the picnic tables. It is a very shady park. The Tracy Aviary is also located at Liberty Park. There are many exotic birds at the aviary. The Aviary does cost money, however. There are also rides including a Merry-Go-Round and a Ferris Wheel that also cost money.
