We live in Fremont and come to this park oftern. There's a play area with swings and sand for the tiny tots and 2 other play areas without sand for the bigger kids. The trail around the lake is great for walking, jogging and biking. Plenty of pits for BBQ too. There are kayak, paddleboat, and sailboat rentals or launch your own sailboat! Great place to spend a nice warm day.

I took my daughter there today for the 1st time and she had a blast!!! The zoo area is shady and well laid out with various small animals, like a bunny, ferrets, sharks, and snakes. The indoor museum area has a buch of hands on exhibits. Will definately go back again.
