Browns Point Pizzeria
1000 Town Ctr NE # 140,
Tacoma,

"Over priced and only o.k at best"
The venue is great for family dining with a large party room, lots of video games in the back, large t.v screen for games, but the pizza itself is pretty bleak. The price is pretty expensive for pizza that hardly delivers. I've been to a few kids birthday parties and the basic cheese pizza, and pepperoni is fine. But all in all it's nothing to write home about.

Browns Point Improvent Club

"The building itself."
It has been remodelled but the structure itself feels like it is stuck in the 70's. I've been there for my 9th grade dance, many weddings and wedding receptions, including mine. The location is fabulous, smack dab on the water and the Browns Point Light House park. Hopefully the people organizing the rentals have improved their customer service, because those who were in charge a couple of years ago were very uncomfortable to deal with.

Lobster Shop at Dash Point

"Great for Ambience"
It's quainte, romantic beachy. I am partial to it only because it resides in my back yard. I have been there for many a prom night, some good others not so good... refering to the prom dates and the dress choice. We recently visited the LS at DP and really enjoyed sitting upstairs this time, it felt like we were in a cabin and the view of the water and the Christmas tree out on the dock was fun. They have a twilight menu which is helpful on the budget.

Motorcycle racing

"Racing motorcycles"
Great for the young and old who love loud, fast motorcycles. It is fun and thrilling to watch motorcyles fly by you at 130 miles an hour. Novice riders can ride the track can ride the track during lunch for a small fee, with their own bikes. Go to WMRRA.com for schedules.

Orting bike trail
Orting,
Orting,
Washington
"Bike, run, walk or roller blade"
This trail is a rails to trails project. It is a scenic and peaceful experience. I have taken kids from the hospital on outings there on numerous occasions to bike, picnic, fish, and roller blade. I believe the trail is 13 miles long one way and it passes through Orting, through farms, past the river with the Majestic view of Mt. Raineer in front of you. It is flat, for the majority of the trail and is great for roller blading. It is worth the trek out there.
