South Rim Mule Trips at the Grand Canyon | kids travel, kids activities
South Rim Mule Trips at the Grand Canyon
S Entrance Rd,
Grand Canyon,

"Amazing!"
We went to Las Vegas and decided since we were so close to go to the Grand Canyon. We rented a van and drove to Arizona. I am so glad we did. WOW! What a beautiful sight! We drove through and every time we stopped was a new angle with a whole new sight. The pictures do not do this place justice. You must see this in person! We are planning a trip sometime soon to take our kids to see it. If you have the chance this is a must see!

"A Great Time!"
The Dixie Stampede was so much fun! What is better than watching a show while eating with your fingers. During the show, each side is given a team to cheer for. They make the show as interactive as possible. You also have a waiter that serves you a huge meal to eat while you watch. It was a wonderful southern meal that was large enough to feed at least 2 people. I would highly recommend making plans to attend this dinner show!

"So much fun!"
We went to Dollywood when I was pregnant so I did not get to ride very many rides. I enjoyed watching the shows! My kids favorite was watching the show about Clifford the Big Red Dog. I loved the scenery in this park. It was filled with so many trees which made the weather bearable in the middle of the summer. I definitely want to go back and enjoy it while not be pregnant!

Uncle Bubba's Oyster House | kids travel, kids activities
Uncle Bubba's Oyster House

Savannah,

"Yummy!"
We ate at Uncle Bubba's while on the Paula Deen Tour. We stopped in for lunch where we were lead to a back room for a buffet lunch. He is known for his oysters but I am not much of an oyster eater so I did not try them. The buffet was good but nothing over the top. I would like to go back and order something from the menu.

"Not what I expected!"
I love Paula with her vibrant attitude and amazing recipes but the atmosphere at her restaurant was not what I expected. We were told by a tour guide to order something off the menu. The buffet was good but not over the top. I am so glad I ordered off the menu. I had her Chicken Pot Pie and it was the best I ever tasted. I tried to make it at home but it was not the same. My husband ordered the Shrimp and Grits and it was delicious! He only shared a bite with me! I would definitely go back if I knew she was having the pot pie on her menu for that day!
