Sea Life Aquarium

"OOOOhhhs and awwww"
First off, I purchased a multi-ticket for about $ 55/military discount.

I found the joy that my child got from this park is irreplaceable. It may be highly priced as is the food (caution). No picture can exclaim the excitement she got from viewing all the fish. It was oooh, awwww, pretty (signing), pretty!

I guess it is how we value the experience. The sealife aquarium is not large and narrow pathways, difficult with stroller, but we still managed to enjoy the experience. We spent about one hour in it and then proceeded to the upstairs eatery. Some money saving ideas. If planning on eating there, breakfast is offered up to 1030 for $ 9.95 for adults and also a low rate for children (dont recall) otherwise, it is quite costly. A cup of fruit for 7, a cup of 12 oz coffee for 3, etc.

"Awww, water!"
My 17 month old loves the water and this was the ultimate relaxation for her. She floated down the river like a champ. We entered a single tube only to be told we needed a double. Had to wait on the side line with a lifeguard till a double came along. Joyce laid on her back in her life jacket the entire wait like that is what she was supposed to do.

For my water loving child this park was great. She enjoyed all the water(falls), slides, pools and the make shift beach.

We went at about 4 in the afternoon and left between 6 and 7 to enjoy some of legoland. This time was more than enough for us.

"San Diego Zoo"
the zoo was a great experience for my 17 month old and myself, a lot to see, well placed and very toddler friendly. If however you are not geared for the exercise program this zoo provides with its many sloping hills (pushing stroller), consider the bus tours. My suggestion, head to the polar bear exhibit first, or work your way to the back of the zoo and catch the gondola back to the main part of the zoo. Loved all the animals, shows and Joyce's favorite was feeding the giraffe and viewing of the snakes.

"Duck calls"
again my curious toddler loved the interaction with the ducks and swans. I took her to identify the new animals in her world and once she spotted them, she wanted to eagerly hug and touch them. We also spent time playing on the playground with the slides and her curiousity with texture in the sand. Wonderful place to take children of all ages.

"Day trip"
excellent variety of animals to share with my toddler, she is under one year old at her first visit, and came home proudly bringing various animals from her room that she remembered seeing at the zoo. Since then, I think she attempted to hint heavily that she wanted to go back to the zoo, by bringing me a flamingo and looking at me, like "well"?
