"fun for all ages!"
Any place I can take 4 kids, ages 2 to 12, and they all have something to do, is a bonus for us! We are careful not to plan on the arcade to keep cost down, just the basic admission to the play area is enough for them to keep busy. Bumper cars are great and the rock climbing wall is free after dark. The later you stay, the more it becomes the hang out for teens dropped off at the curb. Found the staff to be inattentive.

Plaza Fiesta Carolinas
3700 Avenue of the Carolinas,
Rock Hill,
South Carolina 29708
"Fun for all!"
Keeps the kids busy, running sweaty. I think admission is free during the week and unlimited play. Weekends are $2 with a time limit (1/2 hour?) Workers are vigilant about not letting kids out of the fenced area without seeing the adult to claim them. Even though kids cannot escape, it is easy to loose track of your child when trying to keep an eye on more than one, the play area is huge! Look out for bigger kids plowing down the little ones, like any playground. Food in the plaza is excellent.

Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort | kids travel, kids activities
Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort

Lake Buena Vista, Florida
"Cabins are the way to go!"
Get your hopper passes to Disney and stay at the cabins at the Fort wilderness Resort! It's so cool to have your own space and not share elevators, etc with other guests. Park right outside your own cabin, maximum 6 guests. Each cabin has one bedroom with a double bed and bunk beds, and a living area with a pull-down double bed, the kids loved it. We loved the full kitchen. Tons to do at the resort of course, feels like a genuine camping experience.

My kids had a blast at LegoLand. They really were amazed at the pure volume of legos available. They loved digging into the free form building and also had great fun building houses out of the giant legos. They couldn't stop talking about the 4-D movie. my 4 yr old was especially amazed. They got to see legos being made and got to take one home, they treasure those! Cafe was not terribly expensive. You can get tons of admission coupons off their website.

Toledo Zoo
2 Hippo Way,
Toledo,
Ohio 43609
"Toledo Zoo"
We LOVE the Toledo Zoo! An unexpected highlight of the area. New exhibits have been added over the years and it just keeps getting better. Kids love the seal water fountain first thing and we always have to stop at the beautiful gift shop on the way out! Favorite exhibits are the polar bears you can see underwater too, the train ride through the "safari" and the icky spider & bugs display. Also has a wonderful Christmas lights display through the holidays.
