There is nothing better than spending the day at the park and there is no better park to do this than Dan Nicholas! We love coming to this park because there is just so much to do! There is a great walk through zoo and an area to pan for gems and sharks teeth. Both of these activities are loads of fun! There are also paddle boats, a train ride, a carousel and splash pad area. If that doesn't keep you busy, you can even play a round of putt putt or visit the aquarium or petting zoo. I can truly promise, you will not be disappointed when you visit Dan Nicholas Park- it's loads of fun!

The Greensoboro Children's Museum is a wonderful day trip for any family with a child under 8 years old. From a full sized firetruck to grandma's house, they have a little something for everyone. In particular, we really enjoy the theater area with all of the costumes and puppets. I don't know who has more fun, our daughter or us!
