"Make a Day of it"
This is one of the most interesting playgrounds in Atlanta. The play structure is simply and probably best for kids 3 and up. The best part is watching the planes take off and land. The surface is black rubber and gets very hot in the summer. There is also little shade so go when it is cooler and be sure to bring sunscreen. The bathrooms are convenient to the play area. Go when the restaurant is open and grab a bite to eat while you watch the runway.

"Can't beat a jumpy"
We have been to several jumpy places in Atlanta. They all have their pluses and minuses. My daughters (3 & 5) had a great time and there are areas appropriate for crawlers up to big kids. The building is long and narrow so it is hard to keep an eye on the front door to make sure your children don't leave without you. They also have a very strict no outside food policy. There is a cafe with healthy items. We brought our lunch and a staff member noted the policy for next time. That said, a great place to burn off energy when you can't play outside!

"Great for Indoor Fun"
We go to Monkey Joe's when we visit family in Charlotte. It is a great way for the kids (3 & 5) to burn off some energy. We take the grandparents and they get to see the kids in action. After an hour or so, the kids are worn out. Be sure to bring socks!

"Get your Jump On"
You just can beat a place where kids can run and jump safely. We starting going there when my oldest was 18 months and we still visit with a 3 and 5 year old. There are jumpys appropriate for wobblers, the toddler set and the big kid set. The staff does not enforce the age limits in the little kid areas so be sure to watch your little ones. The last time we went some of the jumpys need repair, but the kids still had fun.

"Best Way to Burn off Energy"
I can't tell you how many times I have taken my daughters to Mighty Jumps. We go on the hottest days in Summer, rainy days, cold days or any day. The jumpys are appropriate for kids of all ages. Now that my girls are 3 & 5 I can sit in the middle of the place and keep an eye on them as they bounce and run around. Bring a friend for more fun. Be sure to wear or bring socks! The bathrooms can be a little bit messy, but given that kids are using them I am not surprised. The staff is attentive to any issues in the bathrooms.... The staff is also great at enforcing rules (i.e. no big kids in the toddler area).
