Monkey Island Fun Center
400 S. Millpond Dr.,
Lehi,
Utah 84043
So, we have been to lots of jumping places, and this is our new favorite. The place is brand new, so everything is in really good condition. We really liked the variety of their bounce houses. They have two that are great for toddlers, a few obstacle course-type ones, a few just plain bounce houses and some slides. My daughter is 18 months old and she was even able to climb up the steps/ladders on everything because they are so well made and child-friendly. The price is very reasonable if you go on $5 day because parents and 2 and under are free. We also went there for a birthday party. The party room was kind of small, but it included unlimited playtime, a stuffed monkey for the birthday boy, and drinks, plates and utensils for all the children. Plus they have a person dressed up in a monkey suit who comes to visit each party. Definitely one of our new favorite places to go!

Austin Nature and Science Center
301 Nature Center Drive,
Austin,
Texas
We really enjoyed this place. The best part about it was that it was free (if I remember right!). You get to learn about and see native Texas wildlife, dig in a dinosaur pit, play in a stream, etc. My son LOVED it. He was young at the time, so he didn't get into some of the more detailed exhibits, but I think that is what makes this place great. It can be enjoyable for all ages.

"Lots of activities and fun!"
We really enjoyed our time here. There are LOTS of things to do: Botanical gardens, splash environmental exhibit, the Zilker Zephyr train, natural springs pool, AWESOME playground, etc. We didn't make it to every area, but the ones we did make it to were great. The best part is that most of it is free. Keep in mind that you do have to drive so some of the different areas.

"Enjoy it, but it's kind of going downhill"
We started coming here a few years ago, and at first we loved it. They do have a good variety of bounce houses. I like that they have some that are good for smaller children, and the price is reasonable. However, the place has gone downhill since we started going there. A lot of the bounce houses have fallen into disrepair to the point of even making them hard to play on (steps are broken on ladders, etc.). Also, we don't like how sometimes they turn the lights off. It makes it too dangerous.

"Amazing food and atmosphere"
This is by far our favorite restaurant. They have been featured on the Food Network for a reason! The food is excellent. After trying lots of barbecue in Texas, this came in as our favorite. I feel it is pretty reasonably priced as well. The atmosphere is also wonderful. Being able to go out on the deck and be right on the water is so fun. You can even buy turtle food for a quarter and feed swarms of turtles down in the water. A must-go if you're in Austin!
