NorthPark Mall
8687 N. Central Expressway ,
Dallas,
Texas 75225
"Great for train lovers!"
My 3 year old is really into trains right now, so we had to take him to the train show at the Northpark Mall when we were visiting my mom. It's a little more expensive that I would have though ($5 for adults, $3 for kids) but it was worth it. They have so many different tracks and trains, buildings and bridges, etc. There's even a few Thomas trains in the mix!

Burger Box
201 E Mansfield Hwy,
Kennedale,
Texas
We love Burger Box in Kennedale! It has a great 50's diner feel to it. They have burgers, chicken fingers, steak fingers, and more. They also have many different flavors of Blue Bell ice cream for sundaes, shakes, malts, etc. They have a fun indoor kids play area that you can see from the tables, and a few different arcade machines. The only downside is that the main lobby still allows smoking.

Cheddar's
4830 Little Rd,
Arlington,
Texas
Cheddar's in Arlington (right next to Kennedale) is a great casual place to take the family. They have yummy menu items like salads, sandwiches, ribs, burgers, and more. They have a really good children's menu as well. You can't beat the prices and great service, either! Our favorite menu item is the yummy spinach and cheese dip.

Chick-Fill-A
3710 Bloomington St,
Colorado Springs,
Colorado
The Chick-Fil-A on Bloomington Street feels more like a restaurant than a fast food place! They have great food, and the staff is always so friendly. They go around refilling your drinks for you, offering condiments, etc. The play area is clean and fun for the kids. They also have different family nights and playgroups during the day throughout the month.

The Parks at Arlington Mall
3811 South Cooper Street,
Arlington,
Texas
The Parks at Arlington Mall has a great newer play area for children. It's modeled after the little golden books. There is the pokey little puppy, among other classics. There are slides, tunnels, climbing structures, and more. There is also plenty of seating for parents which is nice. The only downside is when the bigger kids come in and play really rough around the younger ones.
