"Crafts and more"
I love going to Silver Dollar City and have been going for years. I love watching the Craftsmen and women making their crafts. From woodworking to glass blowing to candle making, it's amazing to see these true artists at work. My little boy and I love making our own candles and dipping them when we go. If you go, you have got to eat a roasted corn on the cobb! YUM! There are rides for young and old alike! Our favorite is Fire in the Hole! An inside roller coaster that is so fun and scary!! There is so much to see and do, not only at Silver Dollar City but in Branson, too!

"So much FUN!!!"
Ober Gatlinburg is so much fun! We have gone a few times and never get tired of it! We love the ice skating rink and can skate for hours! But there is so much more than just ice skating. You ride a neat tram up to the park and the scenic views while on the tram are breath taking! Once you get to the park there is much to do! You can go and look at the bears and animals! They are so cute, especially the otters! You can ice skate, you can ride a chair lift even higher up the mountain and slide down on Alpine Slide! In the fall/winter months you can ski and tube on the mountain. There is much to do!! The prices are a little on the pricey side, but well worth it!

"Lots of FUN!!!"
Admission is expensive. We purchased a package from a local TV station, so if you are going here, be sure to look for coupons! My son was amazed by the "upside down house" as he calls it. There is a lot to see and do inside! Some things we are still wondering about, and can't figure out if it was real or not. My son still brags about laying down on a bed of nails! He loved the hurricane simulator and the creepy pictures! It's a really neat place, but I'm not sure if it's worth the price you pay to get in...if you pay full price!

"Lot's of Hiking!"
We go camping in the Great Smoky Mountains a few times every year and love it. The air seems clean, clear and crisp. There are lots of hiking trails and beautiful senery. We love to take a drive on Cades Cove and see all the animals. We've seen bears, deer and so much more. If you go in October, prepare for the crowds. People come in droves to the mountain to see the beautiful colors of the changing leaves. It is beautiful! The Smokeys are really close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge and there's lots to do there. These two towns are a bit of a tourist trap, but lots of fun!

"One Word.....AMAZING"
My parents and I took my six year old son to Mount Rushmore last September. One word sums it up...AMAZING! It was one of the most beautiful, amazing things I've ever seen. I had been teaching my little boy about the presidents and it was really an informative trip for him. He loved the guided walking tour. The walkway with the flags was beautiful! It was a fun and educational trip. Admission was free, but we did have to pay to park.
