Embassy Suites - St. Charles
2 Convention Center Plz,
Saint Charles, Missouri
"Great amenities, nice facility"
This is a newer hotel attached to the St Charles Convention center and great in proximity to downtown St Charles. The restaraunt and coffee shop feature friendly staff and good food and the rooms are worth the money. It's just a short drive to the airport and about 40 minutes from all downtown activities.

St Louis Mills has tons of stores, including some outlet-type for both kids and adults. The indoor ice rink is great - and depending the day you can catch the St Louis Blues practice as well. Indoor mini golf, skate park, a big play area and food court offer ameneties for all ages.

St Louis Science Museum

Saint Louis,

"Interactive fun for kids of all ages"
The Science Center is a fantastic destination for a day of fun with exhibits geared towards kids of all ages. I love the learning aspect of the center and how the exhibits teach a lesson while allowing the kids to have fun at the same time. They also have a hands-on play room (for extra $$) for the younger children and IMAX movies (again, extra) for the older kids.

"The Children's Garden is great!"
The Botanical Gardens are a great afternoon retreat for all ages to stroll through the acres of beautiful landscaping and flowers. The Children's Garden is a highlight for kids 2-12 with interactive exhibits (prepare to get dirty), water play and climbing area. You'll pay a few bucks per child to get in, but it's worth it!
