Mount Nebo State Park
16728 West State Highway 155,
Dardanelle,
Arkansas 72834
We stayed in a cabin at Mount Nebo State Park with our kiddos. The Park has awesome trails and gorgeous views. While hiking on the trails, we also did some geocaching. Many of the geocaches were out of our physical range (we're not very brave). But the caches we did find were fun to find. I just wish we had more days to spend here. This State Park is gorgeous and definitely worth the trip!

Baytown Nature Center
6213 Bayway Drive,
Baytown,
Texas 77520
"Great place for geocaching too!"
The Baytown Nature Center is a great place to visit. There are 450 acres, surrounded by 3 bays. They have three fishing piers, along with picnic benches and a playground. There are trails for walking and biking. And there are convenient places to park your car. We've been geocaching there too! I do not know how many geocaches there are in there, but you would definitely stay busy for hours searching for their many geocaches. We even found one cache that had a clue that led us to another cache. If you are a geocacher, you've found a great place!

Nashville Zoo at Grassmere
3777 Nolensville Pike,
Nashville,
Tennessee
We visited the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere a few summers ago with our kiddos. Although it was sweltering hot, we still managed to enjoy ourselves. The animal exhibits were great. And we enjoyed the scenery, especially at the entrance. I would definitely recommend taking your family to the Nashville Zoo.

Williams Water Wall
2800 S. Post Oak Boulevard,
Houston,
Texas
The Williams Water Wall is a very cool water feature. We've never been there during the day. At night it is really cool. The lights and the flowing water are mesmerizing. This is a popular place for couples to visit (romantic). But families visit too. I would definitely visit there at night to get the full effect.

Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo (March Only)
8334 Fannin St.,
Houston,
Texas 77054
We visit the Houston Rodeo almost every year with our kiddos. There is a wide variety of food booths, craft booths, etc. The carnival is a lot of fun and affordable too. You can purchase coupon books in advance, and safe some money. And don't forget the petting zoo.
