When you first arrive at the beach at Warren Dunes, the first thing you notice is the giant sand dune to the west. The trek up the dune can be a little duanting but the real fun is running down. The beach is soft sand, clean and full of families. There is a concession stand and a gift shop, but most people bring a cooler with their lunch. Camping is also available, but we only spent the day. Admission to the state park is $8 per vehicle if you are not camping. Rates vary for campers. More information can be found at: http://www.michigandnr.com/ParksandTrails/Details.aspx?id=504&type=SPRK
