This spot offers something for everyone in the family. They offer a section of their indoor activities for large inflatables such as several slides, jumping spot and other large inflatables which are perfect for children ages 2-10. Also, laser tag is a fun game for adults and older children. My children really enjoy mini- bowling, which is just like regular bowling just with a smaller ball and pins-great fun! The prices are reasonable, just be sure to check out the website as they offer specials from time to time, which can make your visit cheaper. There is also a wide variety of arcade games for children and adults of all ages.Badger Sports Park also offers concession type food for a fairly reasonable price, but I've never tried it. If you take in this activity, I don' think you'll be disappointed. Fun, Fun for everyone!

I love that this wildlife sanctuary is free! It is open year-round, but with small children it is easier to go when the hiking trails are easier to walk! There is a Nature Education Center that offers 3 floors of various exhibits from hands-on type to different types of research exhibits. There is a small cafe that offers drinks and concession type food fare. I think this is an exhibit any age of children can enjoy, but it will be more enjoyable for the child who is able to read on his own.

Wisconsin state fair is held the first full week in August every year. It offers so much to see and do from the rides, to the 4-H exhibits, to the animals, to the vendors and the list goes on. As far as a family excursion, definitely plan to take this one in during the day. At night, the fair can become more of a partyground and less family friendly. There are activities for children of all ages and be sure to visit the website as you can often get a discount off of the gate price by purchasing tickets in advance!

Our children really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The reason I only rated it with 4 stars, is because the price has gone up since we stayed there. We got a great rate for an awesome hotel with a great breakfast buffet! This kids enjoyed the pool and the water was warm, but be prepared the slide is not always open, so you have to plan accordingly. We did enjoy our stay, but it is a bit pricey now if you don't have a discount!

This hotel offers an indoor waterpark called the Pirates Lagoon. Be prepared...this is a waterpark for younger children, like under 10. Our children loved it, but they are all under 5. The slides are short, but fun. There is a bucket that fills up and dumps water sporadically. The water is fairly warm though. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. And the breakfast buffet is well done and offers a wide variety of foods. We went in October and got a great rate and had a wonderful time as a family. Looking forward to returning again sometime!
