"sheraton"
Great hotel if you are going to hang out downtown gaslamp are. If you want to go to the beach though they don't offer shuttle service. Since you have to pay for parking if you leave the hotel you also have to pay again for parking closer to the beach area. The room itself was roomy we had two queen beds and a seprate room with a sofa bed which we didn't use. good for a family of 4 two children 11 and 1.

"loved it"
short time spent there, but what was seen was really nice. shops and the town itself is very laid back. cute shops and the beach was not overcrowded at all. Kids could run around at the beach. town is very bike friendly. A lot of people in town ride their bikes all over. I felt left out next time I'll be sure to take our bikes.

"not with a stroller"
besides all the steps which are not a problem unless you have a stroller because then your stuck looking for the elevator on one side and then realizing the store you want to visit is on the opposite side and back and forth. It's not kid friendly at all. Maybe carrying a child along on a sling is a lot more practical. Althogh for a 15 month old the last place he wants to be is held and not allowed to run or walk around.

"There's animals"
We love visiting this zoo. We live in l.a. county and compared to our zoo it blows it away. my daughter is now 11 and still enjoys it. She will not even go with us if we say we are taking our 1 yr. old to l.a. zoo. her famous saying "there's no animals there", sad but true this zoo is hands down the best around california.

"california on a miniture scale"
Visiting california adventure is a place that will leave you saying that's it. This park although what it has to offer is great it lacks for the price it charges for admission. At the price comparable to disney you will get your money's worth attending disneyland and not california adventure. it's too overpriced for the attactions it has to offer.
