"Very nice train"
We rode the train at lunch in the dining car with our 1yr old and 3 yr old. You pay for the ride, and then pay separately for the food you order on the train. The food is pricey, and not that great - but you're paying for the experience. They did let us feed our kids food that we brought, so we only paid for our meals. The ride itself was 45 min in length - including stops. A very short ride, but some lovely scenery. One neat thing is that you can ride the train and get off at the halfway point to go to the Cherry Crest Adventure Farm. We didn't stop, but it looked like a really fun place. Overall, it was a kid friendly attraction, and it would be a hit for little train lovers.

"Fun place"
We thought we'd only spend a couple of hours here, but ended up taking up the whole day! There are several things to do, and most are at a cost. The chocolate ride is free, and the kids loved that. We also rode the trolley and got a history of Hershey, which was interesting and nice to see the town. The cafe has a lot of options, but is pricey for what you get.

"Kid friendly hotel"
We just got back from vacation in Lancaster and stayed in a two bedroom king villa at the Eden Resort. The hotel has several multiple room options, which is great for putting little ones to bed in a separate room. Ours had a king bed in the main living space, and then a small, bunk bed room for the kids. The small room was big enough for us to put a pack-n-play in for our 1 yr old son, and our 3 yr old got the bottom bunk. One nice little feature - the bunk bed room lights are on a dimmer, so we could dim them instead of using a little night light for bed time. The main room was very spacious, and has a kitchenette which was perfect for storing milk and washing bottles. Most of the outlets were even child-proofed. The villas are separate, two story buildings near the pool and playground. It was very nice to exit our room and just walk down a path to the pool. The outdoor pool is big and clean - lots of chairs around it. It was always busy with kids and families, but never so crowded you couldn't get a chair or felt that you had room to swim. Toys and floaties are permitted in the pool. There is also a wadding pool for little ones. There were a few things that did bother us, though. First of all, the hotel is right next to Route 30 - and the noise is very loud. I'll admit, it kept me up the first night. By the third night, I got used to it. Second issue - we could hear the people above us. Walking, jumping, running (lots of kids) opening and shutting closets - all very loudly. Only really a problem because they were doing these things until 1 am. Still, it was a great hotel for kids, and we'd stay again.

"Beautiful, Big Rooms, Great location"
We got a suite, and the room was beautiful and enormous. Easily enough room for a pack-n-play and a bassinet. The kitchenette was handy for keeping milk cold and washing dishes. Breakfast was very good, and the pool was nice. Our only problems were that they do not have rooms that offer separate bedrooms with doors to separate the kids at bedtime from the adults, and that the parking was across a street. The location is great - just a walk up a hill to the main street in Saratoga.

"Great for small families"
We stayed here for a couple of nights with my daughter. The room had a separate bedroom with a door, so we could have my daughter in the pack-n-play on one side, and us on the other so we didn't have to go to bed at the same time. The kitchenette was great for keeping milk cold and washing dishes, plus we were able to get take-out and eat in the room for a more relaxing dinner. The pool is small, but nice and my daughter loved it. Breakfast in the morning was great, and the staff was very friendly. The location is right off the main highway, just down the road from the mall behind a plaza - convenient for needs.
