"great for taking in the beauty"
love to walk around. The boys love fishing here and we love to just take in all the beauty. We went here the 4th of july this year to watch the firesorks across the water way in Southport. Awsome idea if you have little ones that are scared of the noise! Beautiful sunsets!

"Fun times by all"
What a great way to spend time with your family. Thrills and giglles all day long. Bring your own lunch to save money and eat at the picnic areas. Come early to avoid long lines on your favorite rides. Wear comfortable shoes b/c there is a lot of walking involved.

"Great way to cool off"
Get the season pass, much cheaper than joining a pool for the year. Great things for every age. Make a day of it by packing your lunch and using the picnic area or rent a cabana and have your own personal waiter/ess. Fun esciting rides and slides, a great way to cool off on a hot summer day!

"Lions and Tigers and Bears, OH MY"
This zoo has it all! We went this summer and it was my 2yos first trip. He didn't want to go. This is a good 5 mile walk to see everything so come prepared. Save money and pack your own lunch to enjoy at the picnic tables. Also get the membership, much cheaper and allows you to visit other nc venues for free.

"Love this place, can't wait to go back"
We went with our church group and rode the wagon. My kids enjoyed feeding the animals and getting a close up view of animals that they might not be able to otherwise. I suggest doig the wagon ride unless you want slober all over you car. Great playground and pic nic area so that you can make a day of it!
