Colonial Williamsburg | kids travel, kids activities
Colonial Williamsburg
101A Visitor Center Drive,
Williamsburg,
Virginia 23187
"Colonial Williamsburg"
I grew up visiting Colonial Williamsburg almost every other month it seemed. My mom and grandma loved to go to Colonial Williamsburg to shop at all the different stores and eat at all the different restuarants. All the restuarants are delicious and there are so many places to shop. All parts of Colonial Williamsburg are nice, kept up, and the people/employees are nice. I would recommend Colonial Williamsburg to anyone looking to learn more about the history, anyone who likes to shop and anyone who doesn't mind being in crowds because of course it is a busy place.

"National Zoo in Washington, DC"
My family and I had the best time visiting the National Zoo in Washington, D.C. We have a local zoo where we live and it's "nothing" compared to this zoo with all the animals they have on display. We specifically enjoyed watching the gorillas. They were so funny and walked the tight ropes above us where the people walked. They interacted with eachother much the way that people interact with one another.
The park was clean, the employees were friendly and we had a wonderful time and cannot wait to go back.
The only negative I had was that parking was a big issue but what isn't in Washington, D.C.

Ocean Breeze Waterpark | kids travel, kids activities
Ocean Breeze Waterpark
849 General Booth Blvd.,
Virginia Beach,
Virginia 23451
"Ocean Breeze Waterpark"
Our family visited Ocean Breeze last year with Girl Scouts. It's a much smaller park than Water Country USA but a very enjoyable park for adults and children of all ages. This makes for a great season pass park because it's close for most residents of Hampton Roads and you can go swimming any time you like. We brought our lunch and ate in the parking lot because, with all parks, the food and drinks were very expensive. Overall, this park is so fun!

The Beach | kids travel, kids activities
The Beach
Atlantic Avenue,
Virginia Beach,
Virginia
"Virginia BEACH"
We visit the beach often because we live very closeby. We love Virginia Beach and all there is to do while we are down there. The beach is very clean and the lifeguards really watch while the people and children are in the water. We have had nothing but great experiences when we go to the Virginia Beach BEACH. The beach does get a little packed/busy but that is to expect when it's the summer and so very HOT. Overall, the beach is a wonderful experience and I would tell anyone to visit while on vacation.

"Great Smoky Mountain National Park"
We visited this park with our 2 year old daughter at the time. It was such a nice visit, the park was absolutely beautiful. You cannot imagine the beauty while on top of the mountains looking down, it's spectacular. They had trails we walked to get from place to place and the nature was beautiful. We had a great time and can't wait to get back!
