We have always loved adventure travel and the outdoors. We used to think that we should cram in all of our traveling before getting "tied down" with kids. After realizing that we were never going to exhaust the list of places we wanted to visit, we agreed to have kids and figure out along the way how to include them in our adventures. We've had to make some adjustments to accommodate our growing family but have been rewarded with some of our best travel memories to date...and two little boys who love to explore the world as much as we do.

PRE-KIDS: backpacking through rainforests in Costa Rica, exploring ancient temples in Belize and Guatamala, 3-month backpacking trip through southeast Asia, sailing from island to island in Indonesia, hiking in Blanco Basin (southwest corner of Colorado), off-roading in Death Valley, roadtripping/camping from San Francisco down the tip of Baja Peninsula. POST-KIDS: Las Vegas clubbing with our 3-month old asleep in the stroller, watching fireworks explode over the castle in Heidelberg in Germany, enjoying the gorgeous beaches of Hawaii, taking our 2-year old on his first backpacking trip into Desolation Wilderness in Tahoe, finding a shipwreck on a beach on Cape Cod...

Losing my 2-year old at the San Diego airport for the longest 7 minutes of my life!
