The NEW Zoo of Brown County
4378 Reforestation Road,
Green Bay,
Wisconsin 54313
"The NEW Zoo is as nice as a large zoo"
The NEW zoo is a small zoo just outside of Green Bay. It is very well kept and provides a lot of entertainment considering it is not a large metropolitan area zoo. I especially loved the small animal section. There is a really cool prairie dog exhibit where I almost always get to see a few. The otter exhibit is nearby and is also set up nicely with a bridge over their swimming area. The cost is very reasonable and they do offer free days quite often.

"Six Flags Great Adventure is a classic"
Six Flags Great Adventure has been my favorite amusement park since my teen years. The Looney Tunes themed park is filled with excellent rides and activities to entertain people of all ages. There is an ice cream looking shop that still appears in my mind when I think of Great Adventure. It is near the merry-go-round and is always the last place we visit before leaving. This is a wonderful park for creating great family memories.

Codorus State Park
1066 Blooming Grove Road,
Hanover,
Pennsylvania 17331
"Codorus state park has it all."
Codorus state park is just beautiful. The lake wraps around and through the road for miles. The park is filled with trails. There is a large swimming pool area. This park offers a very unique kind of fun near Halloween. For a small per car fee, children can go trick or treating after dark in the park. The campers give out the treats and take the holiday very seriously. There are many elaborate costumes and setting to walk through. Other activities including a hayride are included in the fee. A great Halloween family activity.

"Rehoboth Beach and boardwalk make a great beach experience"
I am no expert on beaches, but I just loved the feel of this beach. It reminded me of beaches in California. The boardwalk offered many shops and food establishments to visit. There is no charge to go into the beach area the only charge is to park, which is fairly cheap. It is also nice in that the parking meters allow you to use your credit card to pay. This is great for people who do not want to carry lots of change to the beach. It is definitely geared toward a young crowd, but families also seem to fit in well. The beach itself is a bit stony so I suggest some water footwear.

Comfort Suites Dover | kids travel, kids activities
Comfort Suites Dover
1654 N Dupont Hwy,
Dover, Delaware
"The Comfort Suites in Dover is a nice place to stay"
This hotel is a nice comfortable place to stay. The rooms are a nice size and offer a small sofa area in between the bathroom and the bed area. This makes it a little easier for the parents to catch a favorite show on tv once the kids are asleep. The outdoor pool is adequate though not special. It is not heated and can be quite chilly. The employees are quite nice and even allowed us a quick swim at pool closing time because our room brochure gave the wrong times. There is also a very nice free continental breakfast offered in the morning. Many choices were offered it was actually more like a full breakfast.
