"good time in the hot weather"
My group of 8 went bowling one hot day here in central texas, and had a very nice time at Mels. With their kids bowl free pgm, we just had to rent shoes and the kids each got to bowl two free games, and there is an aracade, and a resturant, very clean, not smoky at all, and all employees were very courtious. will definatly go again.

"fantastic, go every available chance you get!!"
We live here in Georgetown and LOVE the Monument Cafe. wonderful home cooking, great veggies, and the menu has daily specials and familiar favs. they have also just opened a monument market, with local produce, meats, seafood, products, and wines, is a little bit expensive, but well worth it. We love the fresh shrimp. YUMMY, YUMMY, YUMMY

"great way to spend an afternoon"
My girls love this place. At 3yo, and10yo, they like to do different things. this water park has it all, and there are never any lines waiting for the slides. it is also big enough that i dont worry about them getting lost. there is a lazy river, twisty slides, a toddler area, snacks, LOTS of lifeguards who do a very good job of watching out for kiddos. You can also bring your own snacks, lunch, picinic etc. there are covered picinic tables, and lounge chairs although the covered tables go fast so get there when they open at 10am. You are also not allowed to bring floaties, but they have life jackets you can use when you are there or bring your own. great place
