Plimoth Plantation
137 Warren Avenue,
Plymouth,
Massachusetts 02360
After failing miserably at enjoying our trip to Boston with a 5 year old and one year old, we took our vacation down to Plimoth Plantation. We were pleasantly surprised at how well the day went and how relaxed we all were! All while learning a bit of our history. I would recommend this experience for anyone--but especially for families with small children!!

Quincy Market aka Faneuil Hall Marketplace
Quincy Market,
Boston,
Massachusetts 02109
Everyone, and I mean EVERYone stops at Quincy Market. At the same time. It's crowded--but for good reason. It's a one-stop shop for some decent eats, and a good amount of seating, although it doesn't seem to be enough, with enough patience you can probably find a place to plop and slurp down your bread bowl of chowder. The street performers are plentiful and entertaining.

Plymouth Rock
Water Street,

"Wow, that rocks is small! "
All of your life you hear about Plymouth Rock and how the pilgrims landed there. Haha. Man, is that rock tiny! And it's rather humiliated down in its little observation tomb, but hey...if you're going to be in Plymouth anyway, be sure to stop by and marvel at how small it is...just be sure to look for it, as you can easily miss it!

Boston Common
Tremont Street,
Boston,
Massachusetts 02118
"Great place to relax..."
When you're tired of trying to make sense of the streets, you can forget about asking for directions and just wander around the park and let the kids chase the pigeons. (Not that I would encourage that activity or anything....) Very centrally located in the middle of the city.

Pike's Place Market
1531 Western Ave,
Seattle,

"Definitely a must-do in Seattle!"
We really enjoyed meandering through the market while we were visiting Seattle. It is a very busy, bustling spot though...not great for strollers or children who like to wander off. The prices on fresh produce and flowers are incredible, and you can find some really nice souvenirs and gifts unique to Seattle here.
