Downtown Disney Area
1590 East Buena Vista Drive ,
Lake Buena Vista,
Florida 32830
We went to Downtown Disney one evening with our kids and had a pretty good time! The Lego store is cool and my kids loved all the giant Lego creations that were all around! We all enjoyed the various shops, especially the pins shop and the Christmas shop. I was looking for a keepsake ornament and they had tons to choose from! It was a lot of fun to just unwind and shop around...there is even a little train for the kids to ride.

Disney's Hollywood Studios

"Really fun morning at Disney! "
We went to Disney's Hollywood Studios for a character breakfast and to see the Playhouse Disney Live show with our 3 and 5 yr. olds! The breakfast was really fun, excellent food, great service and getting to see the characters up close and getting personal time with each of them was so special for my kids!
The Playhouse Disney Show was wonderful! We waited in line for about 30 minutes but because we waited we were able to sit almost in the front row! The show was very fun and interactive for kids and adults alike! It was such a great show! We ALL loved it! During the show, my parents and sister went to a Little Mermaid show and they really enjoyed that, too! It was a fun way to spend a few hours in the morning.

EPCOT - Disney
Epcot Center Drive,
Lake Buena Vista,
Florida 32830
"Pretty good but not my 1st choice at Disney"
We went to Epcot on one of our Park Hopper Days and it was pretty good. We really enjoyed the Butterfly Area, it was really fun to see all the different butterflies and there is a fun little play area for little ones close to that area. The problem we had was that we got to Epcot too late, so a lot of the hands on activities for the kids were closed. Check the schedule first! A fun place but not my fave park at Disney...

The Magic Kingdom - Disney
Magic Kingdom Drive,
Lake Buena Vista,
Florida 32830
"The most wonderful place on earth! "
We visited Disney World with our 3 and 5 yr. old kids, my sister and Mom and Dad. It was mid April and very busy because it was the local kids' Spring Break. Check that before you go!
Disney World is so much fun for young and old, everyone could feel the magic as we were pulling up to the castle from the boat. It is such a welcoming, fantastic sight to see! We made sure to hit Town Hall to get our First-Time visitors buttons and a birthday button for our daughter. These were fun because staff members would just come up to us and say hello, give us freebies and just make the kids feel very special!
We rented a double stroller and used it A LOT! Well worth the money and it was really nice because we were able to leave the strollers at each park and get a ticket and then you redeemed your ticket for another stroller and the next park you went to. Very convenient! And my kids each used it to rest throughout the days and nights that we were there.
Bring lots of snacks and water bottles because it will save you about $4 a bottle. Your backpack will be empty by the end of each day. We also shared meals which helped to lower the cost of food somewhat.
One thing we did splurge on that I would highly recommend was a character breakfast at Disney's Hollywood studios. The food buffet was excellent and the kids loved all the interaction with the characters and they loved meeting their favorites and getting pics with them. Purchase a small autograph book before you go and carry it with you because you never know when you might run into a character!
All in all, the only complaint I have is that it was super busy in the Magic Kingdom because of when we were there. Research, research, research...I have heard that November is a pretty good time to go!

Tiny Town Railroad
6249 S. Turkey Creek Rd,
Morrison,
Colorado 80465
Tinytown was such a fun and welcome way to spend an afternoon with our kids! (ages 6, 4 and 1) The "tiny" town is a magical place that your kids will love! Each house or shop has great detail inside from a Barbie squaredance to miniature flowers lining a greenhouse! There are plenty of photo ops and even a playground area to give your kids a break if they need it. And the train ride if SO much fun! Because it is loaded with parents and little kids it is filled with oohs and ahhs and plenty of squeals in the tunnel! We loved the graveyard and the "terrible, tiny" T-Rex on the hillside by the track! I can see us going back again and again!
