About Me & My Family

I have 5 children, 4 girls and 1 boy, ages 17 to 35. My husband and I have been married 37 years. We like to take family vacations and to also include my sister and her family. My nieces have 4 children 0 to 6, so our vacations are varied depending on who can get away and come with us. We love to travel and take off anytime we get a chance.

Worst Travel Moment With My Kids:
Arriving in Mesa, Arizona in the middle of the summer, late at night and the air conditioning in the apartment we were staying in was broke. We were up all night in the stifling heat. It felt like the furnace was on full blast. It was miserable. We were so relieved to get the air conditioning fixed the next morning. We were ready to load up in the car and head home, but we didn't have to because they were able to get the air conditioning working.

"Stunning!"
Temple Square is a beautiful place, especially at Christmas time. The lights are amazing and very, very beatiful! The ponds reflect the lights and the temple and are gorgeous. If you are in Salt Lake City, don't miss visiting temple square. It is beautiful in any season. The spring and summer have the beautiful flowers. It is a peaceful, restful place to visit.

"Beautiful!"
When we pulled up to the falls area, there were some beautiful trees and flowers in full bloom. They were gorgeous! The pink flowers were so vivid. We walked down to the falls and it was breathtaking, We loved just watching and listening to the falls. The trees around the area were so beautiful. They looked like they had moss on the trunks. They looked amazing and like nothing I have seen before. The looked like they were wrapped in velvet.

Mission Bay Park

"A beautiful place!"
My family spent an afternoon on one of the beaches at Mission Bay Park. It was one of the best afternoons of my life. My daughters and I sat on the rocks and listened and watch as the waves hit. The temperature was perfect. The sky was blue. The beach clean. The girls played in the water and I just sat and watched and enjoyed the day. This is one of my most treasured memories.

In-N-Out

"Love It!"
We love In-N-Out. The burgers are soooo good. They are very reasonably priced and they are fast. For just a good all around burger, you can't beat In-N-Out. I wish they would get one closer to where we live. I just found out that In-N-Out has a secret menu you can get online. It isn't shown when you order. You have to know the code words to ask for different items and they are actually right on the cash registers as available but you have to know that they are. I really felt like I have been missing out. For example, if you want grilled onions on your burger you ask for it animal style. You can get your french fries crispy by asking for extra crispy. You need to go to their online site and get the code words. It is really quite fun!

Lagoon Amusement Park | kids travel, kids activities
Lagoon Amusement Park
Exit 327 from I-15 at US89 junction,
Farmington,
Utah 84025
"Great Amusement Park. "
If you like amusement parks, Lagoon is the place to go. It isn't huge but big enough to have a lot of different rides and things to do. It is fun for all kids 3 and up. They have an area with little kid rides. They also have a water park. The Lagoon band is entertaining and goes through the park at different times. They also have a place where different entertainers perform. It is a fun place to go as a family.
