Great Wolf Lodge
20500 Old Highway 99 SW,
Grand Mound,
Washington 98531
"Best Vacation We Have Taken!"
We knew Great Wolf wood be fun, but we didn't know we would have this much fun! We went at a time with low occupancy (the lady checking us in said the hotel was only 20% booked), so it was not crowded at all. My four year old was able to do all the water slides and not have to wait in a line. My newly turned two year old had a blast playing in the toddler/baby area and the wave pool. The nice thing is they provide life vests, free of charge. They also loved to play in the arcade and listen to storytime with Wiley at night. My only critique is the food selection is minimal. It is basically pizza or burgers as your options. However, the food was good. They have a fridge and microwave in the rooms, so if you wanted to bring things, you could make meals in your room to cut down costs. We stayed for two nights, which was just the right amount of time. You can get into the pool at 1:00 the day you check in, and stay until it closes the day you check out. I would pack a swim bag so you don't have to carry all your stuff into the changing rooms if your room isn't ready yet. Great Wolf Lodge is a must go family vacation! We are already planning our next trip!

Disney California Adventure
1313 Harbor Boulevard,
Anaheim,
California 92802
California Adventure was a great addition to the Disney parks. Though it is geared to the older crowd, all ages will have fun. Their rides are more adventurous than Disneyland's and their restaurants are a bit more upscale. They also have so really cool shows for adults and for kids. Three days aren't enough here! Its also nice that it is right across the entrance to Disneyland, so you can go back and forth all day (if you have the park hopper pass).

Disneyland Park

If you are looking for fun for the whole family, Disneyland is it! Everybody will have fun here. The rides are so much fun, the parades and shows are so fun to see, and the food is so good! Though little ones will have fun seeing the characters and going on small rides, they probably won't have as much fun as the older ones since they can't do all the rides. It is expensive not only to get in, but for food and gifts too. however, the fun your kids (and you) will have is well worth it!

San Francisco Chinatown
750 Kearney Street,
San Francisco,
California 94108
San Francisco's Chinatown is a fun place to go. They have some cool shops and unique restaurants. However, I would not recommend it for small children, especially if you are traveling with a stroller. It is very crowded and most shops are small and hard to navigate. Plus, a lot of the shops have the same things. Definitely stop and visit a least few shops though, you are bound to walk a way with something!

Cable Car Ride
Downtown San Francisco,
San Francisco,
California
Everyone has to do this if they are in San Francisco! The cable car is so iconic and so much fun on top of it! Kids of all ages will love it. My 3 year old thinks it is so cool to be on an "open train". Even if it isn't going where you need to go, it is fun to just ride it around and see the sights. It does get crowded with locals and tourists, so just hold on to the kiddos tight.
