This is a great fun festival! The best part is possibly the little train ride they have. My kids are OBSESSED! They also have a kids day with lots of kids related activities and music kids would like. I just go on regular days because I try to stay away from days that say "kid" in them. My kids like the regular days with the regular folk bands and the playground is always there. I also like the shopping. Very cool wares can be found. Definitely a neat charlotte event!

I like to shop at this mall. it's the regular middle class nice down to earth mall. Nothing too fancy but some nice finds can be found there. The play area is a ZOO. It's crazy how crazy the kids get in there. I just pretend it doesn't exist most times. My kids have fun enough on the escalators. If you are ABSOLUTELY desperate for indoor play then by all means risk your life.

The playground is this amazing wood play area with literally a million activities. The only issue is that if you have little ones they are likely to be run over here as this great park is usually very busy. The zoo is one of the smallest I've ever seen. It is worth if for maybe one trip but you'll never feel the need to return. This playground is worth the trip alone.

This is a tiny little playground. The really good thing about this park is the sense of community. People come out and BBQ on the weekends and are very welcoming! There is also a walking trail and basketball courts. I don't ever come here first but it's nice if you live right in the neighborhood.

We go here often. The only problem with this park really is that sometimes it can be a bit crimey in the evening. There is a police presence in the evening now though. I still come here all the time. During the day it's full of lots of little kids playing. The great thing about this park is that there are lots of trees and there is a separate big kids and little kids play area. This is very nice if you don't want your kids run over by anyone. On weekends you can have a party at the picnic table. So highly recommended during the day.
