Royal Gorge Bridge and Park
4218 County Road 3A,
Canon City,
Colorado
Your admission inside the park includes a train ride, donkey ride, carousel ride, and petting zoo. Walking across the bridge was amazing. You can feel the bridge bouncing and swaying. Don't recommend for those afraid of heights. The dining inside was horrible. We paid alot for disgusting food.

Casa Bonita Restaurant
6715 W Colfax,
Lakewood,
Colorado
Growing up and going here on family vacations as a child, I had so many great memories. Taking my family here last month was a different story. In order to get in you have to buy food. The food is not great. However, my boys (2 & 4) loved the cliff divers and arcade games. It gets very loud inside with the waterfall and other screaming kids, so don't expect much of a conversation with other adults.

Fabulous museum! Lots of parking. Great amenities inside to include clean bathrooms, dining on the first floor and a cool gift shop! The museum always has great exhibitions, which cost extra. The IMAX shows are incredible.
My boys 2 & 4 loved this museum. Their was something for the entire family.

Gallup Inter-Tribal Indian Ceremonial
Red Rock State Park,
Gallup,
New Mexico
5 day event held in Gallup, NM. Different Native American tribes from throughout the United States and Mexico come out for ceremonical dances, pow-wow's and more. There are rodeos, arts and crafts (extraordinary jewelry and pottery!!!!!) and native food. They also have the famous downtown parade where you can get a front row view at their dancing. Be warned it can be HOT, so be sure to bring plenty of water and umberellas!! Also lots of people attend so you'll want to get there ahead of time for the parades and shows.
I would recommend the parade and evening shows. We took our boys, 1 & 3 years old. Overall they did great, but had short attention spans during the show and the heat didn't help either.

Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum
# 479 Main Ave,
Durango,
Colorado 81301
Durango is a beautiful town! Every "outdoorsies" dream. The Durango and Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad is awesome! Tickets can be pricey, but well worth it. We have been on the summer train ride to Silverton and back. You go through some beautiful terrain and Silverton is a cute little town with shops and dining.
We've also been on the train for Polar Express. Very short ride, but the kids loved it. On the way out, they hand out books and then the have a narrator reading the book. You get hot chocolate, cookies and the kids get a bell. At the end you are greeted by Santa and his elves. The return trip you sing Christmas Carols.
Last, we have attended I spent the Day with Thomas. Our kids loved this! They have a Thomas engine pulling the train. They had tents and activites set out such as face painting, petting zoo, meet Mr. Topham Hatt, etc. Wonderful day.
Our kids are 2 & 4.
