We stayed at the Holiday Inn for a fun family getaway. It was okay until we tried to go to sleep and all that we could hear was the downstairs lounge/bar area's radio blaring all night long. On the plus side they have a great pool area. We especially liked the "baby" pool which is perfect for little ones that want to play in the water and parents don't want to have to worry about them drowning in the water. They also have a great buffet, which I highly recommend.

This is one of the best hotel waterparks that my family has been to. The night we got there it was raining so we couldn't go to the waterpark, but they have an indoor pool and the coolest part was that we have a huge tree house jungle gym right outside of our room. Great so the kids could play and could still keep an eye on them. Also they have a really neat game room and can buy items with the tickets one. Awesome waterslides. Many activities for everyone to do.

Valleyfair is one of the places that my children ask repeatedly to go to every summer. It is great that you can go on rides and to the waterpark for one price and not have to pay extra. Great rides for children and adults of all ages. Didn't have to wait in long rides, which was nice since it was sooo hot outside.

Great location to the fairgrounds and the local ski lodge. One big complaint was that the beds were suppose to be queen sized, but were closer to what seemed like a twin bed and were very hard! Great morning breakfast. Nice pool and hot tub area. Overall if looking for close access to the fairgrounds this would be the place to stay.
