Best resort in Northern California for ski-school?

"I don't have any other experience to compare it to, but our local small ski resort has great children's lessons. Dodge Ridge at Pinecrest, CA, especially during the week, really does well with kids. I just took my 7-year old the other day ($109 for an all-day lesson including lunch, equipment & lift ticket) and she's ready for the chair lifts. Nice lodge. The only drawback is no lodging connected to the ski resort itself. You'll have to find a place to stay nearby (altho that shouldn't be a problem)."
