The Exchange Place
4812 Orebank Road,
Kingsport,

Really neat place - right in our own backyard. They mostly do school visits. But they have several "fairs" there every year - our favorite is the garden fair in the spring. Even our lttle ones enjoy it! And it's right next to the greenbelt - so you can hop on and walk or ride!

Stone Mountain Park
1000 Robert E. Lee Drive,
Stone Mountain,
Georgia
This is a great day trip. Hike to the top (best for older kids - it's not for the faint of heart!) or take the train up. Of course the best part is the laser show that they do on the face of the mountain - definitely worth it to stay for that part!

"Great for adults/older kids"
This is definitely a must see!! But you really need to take older kids only. The history is amazing - but some of the stories would be scary for little ones. My favorite part of the tour was getting "locked up" (very briefly!) in one of the cells.

Creative Discovery Museum
321 Chestnut St,
Chattanooga,
Tennessee 37402
This is an amazing hands-on museum. There is way more to do here than you can do in a day. And there is plenty - both for little kids and bigger kids alike. And there really is so much to learn - music play, water, science, the list goes on and on!

Tennessee Aquarium
One Broad Street,
Chattanooga,
Tennessee 37402
This is am amazing aquarium. It is perfect for kids of all ages (but lots of walking - so take the stroller). It really takes an entire day to go through it - so enjoy it and take your time! Plus - it's within walking distance to lots of other destinations in downtown Chattanooga!
