"FOR ALL AGES"
Even though the decades span from the 50s to the 90s, all kids will love this resort. There are giant Potato Heads, Rubics Cubes, Twister Games, Yo Yo's, pools upon pools, and all kinds of arcade games available. The absolute best is Disney Jr. is running on a tv with tables set up in the cafeteria for the kids to eat at. Don't worry, mom and dad are at the table right next to them watching them. There is even a store inside. BUY THE MUG - it's 13.99 right now in 2011 and you can refill it for your whole stay. My husband and I both bought one and both got our money's worth. There's a little playground in the 70s section for kids too. Watch for Lizards though!

"Every Store is the Same"
If you like to shop and your child does too, then this is the place for you. Beware though, almost every store carries the same merchandise. If you must brave the crowds, make sure to build your own Mr. Potato Head complete with accessories. If you can get in the Lego Store I think you will be overwhelmed at what is available. All the princess dresses are there for your purchase so your child can wear them the next day at one of the parks - which was a major deal at the parks. I recommend buying one for princess meet and greets.

"It's just okay!"
Tower Of Terror is not for the weak! My 4 year old rode it because she was tall enough, but she was freaked out. Rockin' Rollercoaster is my fav! A definite do! Eat at the Sci Fi Cafe. The food is okay, but the atmosphere is a definite must see for both kids and adults. It's a drive in movie theater and you eat in the almost dark in a car. It's so cool. Make sure you go straight to the Pixar area, we couldn't get near it by the time we got there. Do the Kermit the Frog 3D attraction. All the kids loved it. Mater and Lightening McQueen from Cars are there, so look for them. The stunt show is a lot of fun to watch, and the backlot tour is great too, but more for preteens and teenagers, not small children.

"A Changing Park"
You know, I used to detest this park. I was in and out in half a day. This year, I found that they have added a lot of attractions and if you have kids that are 6 and under, there really is a lot to do. The Nemo attraction is lame, but the aquarium at the end is awesome, so do the ride, even though it's kind of boring. You will love the aquarium at the end. Do test track first or get a fast pass. Such a thrilling ride. Make sure to get a list of character greetings and if you are a Disney Visa holder, go to the Innovations West between 1 and 4 and you will receive a special meet and greet and a free 5x7 photo. We didn't do the countries this time because my daughter wasn't interested, but I have done them and there are characters at each country. Do Mexico it has a great boat ride and an interesting indoor ambiance. We ate there too. We had the Chorizo Quesadilla and it was to die for. We ate at the Garden Grill, not really thrilled - too expensive, but the characters do come to the table if you do the character dinner. Tinkerbell is only at this park for signatures, so make sure you go to Pixie Hollow and check the times when she will be there.

"GO EARLY"
Be there when it opens. If you can catch the magical hours in the AM, do it. They have a Lion King opening ceremony. Do the safari first because it will become a bit of a wait as it is the major attraction. Utilize the fast pass because they do run out. I didn't know that. They advise you to do the safari in the AM because the Animals are more lively because it's feeding time, but I have done it in the AM and the PM and have always seen the animals. Make sure that you check the sheet with the character greetings. Book ALL restaurants online at least a month prior to the trip or you may not get in or have to wait a really long time. A Bugs Life may be too scary for Preschoolers. We had to leave it about 10 minutes into the show. Make sure to get a picture of the Tree Of Life. It's magnificent.
