FYI parking is free Saturdays after 5..otherwise its 15 dollars to park and admission is always free. This museum is just gorgeous and the view is stunning. We have taken our young children there before and my 6 year old thinks its pretty cool, but my 3 year old only likes it for a short while. They do have a hands on kids area and its good, but small. This is my favorite art museum in Los Angeles and I am a firm believer that exposing children to art early will spark an appreciation later on.

"Alpine sliding is really cool."
We took my older daughter, then 4, here for the afternoon and we all loved it. They had a waterslide (no bathing suit required) and you are on a tube and don't have to worry about getting wet. They have putt putt and arcade games as well. However the best part is taking the chairlift up to the top to do alpine sliding, really pretty view! I was actually a little nervous about it because it gets going pretty fast, but my 4 year old went with her Dad down a run and we all had a blast. Really neat and different thing to do.

"nothing better than a day in Central Park"
You can literally spend the whole entire day here. Its HUGE and there are always things going on...street fairs galore. The best part is all the really cool playgrounds, you just don't see playgrounds like it anywhere else. T hey have one with Alice and wonderland statues all over...another covered with trees with bridges and a slide carved out of the stone around it...a ton of really cool splash areas mixed into the playgrounds and just miles and miles of places to run, bike, throw a frisbee, you name it! It is such a tranquil place right dab in the middle of such hustle and bustle. The last time we were in NYC we met up with friends from out of town with their daughter and more than half of the day was spent right there in the Park. They even have a zoo, audobon center, carousel and puppet theater right there. Great city, great place.

"If you love seasame street you will love this place."
My husband grew up on the East Coast and he had went to this place when he was a kid so when our daugthers were born we planned a trip for my youngests' 1st birthday . It was such a fun day! Really cute park, but I def remind going during the warmest months as a lot of the rides are water rides. My 1 year old went down her first waterslide with her dad, Ernie's rubber ducky slide and my then 4 year old went on her first roller coaster...Super Grovers Supercoaster. We ended the day with a character dinner and a show (which was really cool because it was part of the seasame street live stage show that tours). Overall it was such a fun day and fun park.

SeaWorld San Diego
Sea World Drive,

Sea World is a personal favorite of mine, 2nd next to Disneyland, but its a really enjoyable day. The whale show is fun to watch and the kids love to sit in the splash zone. The stringray pool is a must as you get to pet live stingrays. The aquariums and dolphin areas are great as well. They even have seasame street characters there now which is great for the little visitors. San Diego is an awesome vacation spot and Sea World is a great option to add to your activity list.
