"We <3 spooner's cove"
My kids really enjoy spending the afternoon here playing int he tidepools and searching for treasure. There are great hiking opportunity and The trillium and Bishops pine are really neat if you catch the timing good. Los OSos is blessed to have such beautiful play space!

Arroyo Grande Strawberry Festival
On Grand Avenue in Old Town Arroyo Grande,
Arroyo Grande,
California
"I thought the festival was about strawberries?"
this wasn't so much about strawberries as it was a bunch of craft/clothes/food/junk vendors trying to sell you everything. I couldn't even find where to buy strawberries except for like $8 for a strawberry shortcake. This wasn't for me and my family. Everything was expensive and just not worth it.

"The seals are fun!"
The food choice is limited for vegetarians on this all seafood pier, however, the seals are neat to watch. The bird poop can be a bit aggravating, but it is nature at its finest! My kids like to watch the fisherman wash their catch and ask them 1,000 questions.

Tidelands Park | kids travel, kids activities
Tidelands Park
Embarcadero,
Morro Bay,
California
"Beautiful Park"
This is a beautiful park with a great view of the bay. The kids love running in the grass field and pretending to be pirates on the "ship". further, they love walking down on the dock and looking at the jelly fish that always seem to be around. The restrooms are typically clean and the picnic tables make for a great playdate during lunch.

Morro Rock and Morro Bay City Beach
Embarcadero,
Morro Bay,
California
"It's a rock.."
it is cool to look at, but you can't climb it. Morro Bay Beach by the rock is probably my least favorite beach in the area. The town is beautiful, the rock is thrilling. The beach is just not that fun. I like the park at the opposite end of the embarcadero as it seems less windy and there are always jelly fish off the dock!
