"Perfect Kid Beach"
I grew up going to my grandparents Condo at New Symrna for the weekends/summers. It is still my favorite beach in Fl. The sands are nice and soft, there is a "drive on" area of the beach as well as an area with no vehicles which is ideal for the little ones. Lots of Condos along the beach. Perfect for families travelling together. We enjoy going for several nights, cooking in the condo and relaxing. A family oriented place.

"Nice Zoo"
Took my 16 month old there. Wish we had chosen a cooler month! Not a ton of shade so I would recommend avoiding the Summer for a visit. Great bird area where you can feed the birds nectar. One landed on my daughter and loved her hair scrunchi.. she thought it was funny. That was her favorite part. Otherwise it's a nicely maintained Zoo and we will be back when her brother is a little older.

"A good place to get out to"
We live in Orlando so my Grandma and I took my then 1.5 year old out to ride the Ferry (free) across the water. She was able to go into some of the stores.. ride a carousel, a choo choo train and then check out the Rain forest Cafe. Of course the giant fishtanks at the Cafe were her favorite thing of all. It's a good place to get out, walk and enjoy the weather.

"Good for bigger kids"
I went to this location with my 2 year old (she is the height and size of a 3 yr old) thinking she would love it. I'm glad I took my parents and Grandma along. They had several "childrens centers" present and many of the kids were 10 and up. The employees were not policing the areas very well and while escorting my daughter up to the slides she and I were run into a lot by very pushy kids. I will not be taking Makenzie back for a few years. I think this location may not be ideal based on the proximity to the tourist area. I will try the Winter Park location down the road.

"Fun for the little ones!"
I went to Amaya Papaya the first time to meet up with a Moms Group. Not a big fan of the Moms I met but Man was I glad to find this place! Tons of toys, indoor sandbox, small table to sit at with your toddler. Bring Snack and Drinks! Some moms prefer to sit and chat but others play with their little ones. Great for a SAHM to get out and let their child socialize. Good price for the experience.
