"Amazing!"
It's kind of amazing that this place exists, and our kids had a great time and so did we. There are some really funky birdhouses to look at, the water fountains talk to you, and there's a lot of variety--some seating areas that they can play around on, some lookouts over the street that are very cool.

"Good for a break from theme parks"
If you're in the OC and you need a day away from the craziness (and expense!) of theme parks this is a good choice. Our kids found it very entertaining and they learned a lot. The best part for me was that out back they have a dinosaur skeleton which doubles as a play structure and teaches the kids about dinosaur anatomy!

"Tons of choices!"
We loved this place. It's very convenient to Griffith Park, and has smoothies that the kids will like. The staff was very accommodating and let us modify some of the dishes so our kids would eat them, which we were very grateful for. Most important, the food was very healthy and delicious!

"Awesome for kids!"
This hotel was super convenient--right off the 134 freeway and very close to Griffith Park. The suites were very large and clean and having a separate room for the kids and parents was really really nice. The pool was great--it's technically outdoors but it's under an overhang so you don't have to sunscreen the kids, but it was very well heated so it was never chilly or anything. Breakfast is included which is a huge plus as well.

"Excellent hotel"
We really enjoyed this place. The rooms were spacious, it's right on the beach, the staff was extremely gracious and the breakfast was very extensive. The pool was nicely heated, which was good when the weather was a little cool, and you can see the ocean from the hot tub which was awesome!
