We drove slowly through the area and saw many different types of shore birds. The beach is beautiful and there are many different parking areas with bathrooms. At Turtle Mound, we were able to photograph flowers and butterflies and we even heard the sonic boom as the Space Shuttle came in for a landing at Cape Canaveral nearby!
